How To
Participate

?

It is hard to find anyone who has not grieved the loss of a loved one. Whether it is a family member, a friend, a co-worker, or a beloved pet, we have all mourned a life that is now with us only in spirit. As a Canadian Registered Charity, Home Hospice Association provides care for anyone, of any age, at any time, under any roof when a cure is no longer possible. Home Hospice Association invites you to come together in celebration of those loved ones, while supporting individual and collective healing through our annual Moonlit Memory Walk. To further strengthen awareness and support for change, we encourage participation in promoting your own In Memoriam drive until the registration deadline date of October 11, 2022. Let’s take steps to heal by registering for the Walk at Moonlit Memory Walk 2022.

Participate

The Moonlit Memory Walk is proud to offer our participants a pandemic safe walk this year by gathering Virtually on October 11, 2022.  This will be an all-inclusive, easily accessible online community experience taking place in each region at the same time.

As an individual participant
Sign UP, share the memories of someone you love and raise money for all the work HHA does.

Host a Walk
In Your Community

Not close to one of our Chapter Walk Locations? Not sure how comfortable your friends and family will be gathering in large numbers? Think the families and customers you serve would want to participate and you would love to host them at your place of business? New for 2022, the Moonlit Memory Walk organizing team has put together a Walk Host Kit so you may show your growing support for our work and your commitment to helping improve the journey of those, in your community, facing their end of life. Email our Event Manager directly:

Lisa Isaacs at

to start your planning.

Not able to join us on October 11th but wish to show your support? Each participant would welcome a donation to their in-memoriam efforts. Visit our Tribute Pages to learn their stories and determine where your support will go.

Offering support directly to one of HHA’s Cornerstone Services is also well appreciated. If you understand the need to honour the bond between pets and their people you may wish to support The Bello Project; if you are or know someone who is part of the 25% who have lost a pregnancy or experienced a still birth you may wish to support Pre and Perinatal Hospice; perhaps someone you loved very very much died alone or the hospital and you know first hand how that felt please consider Hospice at Home  and finally to help communities become more educated around topics relating to death you may wish to support the  C.A.N.D.Y. Café program.

If you have a specific amount in mind and would like to honour our participants by supporting any one of the ways in which we gather to commemorate and celebrate visit our Sponsorship Page to learn more about how your donation will ensure more dollars are available for those who need Home Hospice care the most.
