Team Anne Tributes

Anneliese Anderson is walking for her mom

As the honourary chair of the Moonlit Memory Walk, anybody who knew Anne Anderson knows she was a woman of faith, integrity, and fierceness. She had so much love and grace to give. Saying that she was dedicated, relentless, buzzing with ideas and determinations to make change, would simply not do her justice. The force she held in this world is beyond a string of words. The care she had for those she loved, or even strangers she encountered, cannot be confined to a sentence - or even a book. If you are somebody lucky enough to have known this incredible woman: a mother, a daughter, a friend, a friendly acquaintance, you know what the Home Hospice Association meant to her - it was a cause among many that kept her fulfilled and fighting during her final years. Anne left this world on October 21st, 2018, but she lives on and lights up the memories we have of her in our hearts. Her legacy to Home Hospice Association will not be forgotten.

Without a doubt, Anne lived and worked tirelessly and selflessly, her entire life.  Her energy never wavered as sick as she became in her efforts to live her life completely.  As family and friends of Anne, we carry a torch to her beautiful soul, to show unity for a cause she cared deeply about, which is love, faith, and commitment.

When I think of Anne I think of her strength. And she raised 3 amazing children who have inherited her strength. She is missed by all who knew her.

Anne was like a second mother to me growing up. She was my mom's best friend and our neighbor for years. I will never forget her beautiful, caring soul and that laugh that I can still hear to this day.

My mom's love, perseverance and commitment to helping others was unfounded. I am proud to honour her memory in support of a cause she so passionately believed in.

I was fortunate enough to know Anne for a few short months before she passed. We enjoyed many laughs together and I will always remember how she called me her "fun guy".

I’m walking for the strongest person I’ve ever known, who wouldn’t stay off of her feet, and would pull herself up to whatever the challenge.
