Join Us in Making a Difference

By joining us for this year's Moonlit Memory Walk, you're not just honoring the memories of loved ones who’ve died; you're also fueling vital work right here in your community. With the funds raised at this year's event, we’ll be able to expand several key initiatives within our Hamilton-Halton Chapter:

  • Partnership with Public Libraries: We've already begun collaborating with the Hamilton Library on Death Cafes & our "How to Talk with Kids about Death" workshops, and your fundraising efforts will help us further develop this partnership. We're also looking forward to extending our Death Education programming to additional libraries across the Hamilton-Halton region.

  • C.A.N.D.Y. Cafe Extension for At-Risk Youth: With funds raised this year, we're excited to expand our C.A.N.D.Y. Cafe outreach to at-risk youth. Through strategic partnerships, we’ll be able to provide a transformative platform for constructive conversations about dying, death, and grief, benefiting both youth and their caregivers.

  • “Talking with Kids about Death” Professional Development: We've been working hard to develop our professional training program to empower community leaders and care professionals in guiding youth through conversations about death and grief. By walking in this year's event, you'll help us further build the capacities of professionals in Hamilton-Halton!

Your participation in the Moonlit Memory Walk propels these efforts forward, ensuring that essential programs thrive and support reaches those who need it most in our region.
