Walk Together. Heal Together.

Every team begins with one person who wants to make a difference — one story of love and loss that deserves to be remembered. Whether you gather friends, family, coworkers, or walk with your community, being part of a team turns your grief into action, your memories into movement, and your story into a legacy of compassion.

Why Walk as a Team?
  • Shared Strength: Grief is heavy, but walking with others lightens the load.

  • Greater Impact: More people means more voices, more stories, and more funds raised to support compassionate end-of-life care.

  • Connection & Comfort: Teams offer a space for support, laughter, remembrance — and healing.

Whether your team is two people or twenty, what matters most is walking together in memory of someone who mattered.

Across the Rainbow Bridge

Across the Rainbow Bridge walks for those who are dying and deeply love their pets — and for every animal left behind without a plan. This team supports the Bello Project, which ensures pets are cared for during and after their person’s death. Every step helps protect the bond between people and their animals at the end of life.

Team Butterfly

Team Butterfly walks in memory of George — the first person Home Hospice Association served — and for all individuals with developmental disabilities who deserve compassionate care at life’s end. Every step helps build a world where no one dies alone. - (link to Team Page)  - to follow

Team Yoda

Team Yoda walks in memory of Eric Elliott — a joyful, snuggly, and deeply loved little boy who left this world just shy of 15 months old. Eric’s life and legacy are the inspiration behind the Eric Elliott Memorial Scholarship, which supports the training of Death Doulas through Home Hospice Association’s Infant and Pregnancy Loss Support Program. By walking with Team Yoda, participants help ensure that grieving families receive the compassionate care they need during life’s most heartbreaking moments.
