Pam Keetch is walking for her friend,
Doug Church

I am proud to walk in memory of my friend, Doug Church. I knew Doug since our early teen years, and he married one of my dearest friends. When I think of Doug, I remember his zest for life and for enjoying new and exciting experiences while following his dreams. Doug loved to sail, ride motorcycles, fly, drink coffee, and he played some hilarious and creative pranks on his friends over the years.

Doug retired as a proud member of the Canadian Armed Forces after spending 30+ years serving our country, including several tours of duty in Afghanistan. Although he saw a good part of the world during his career, I know that there were many long days spent in unpleasant and dangerous conditions.

Doug was tragically killed in a motorcycle accident in 2013 at the age of 53.

My friend – you live on in the memories and the hearts of those who love you.
